Summer Reading begins on Monday, June 6th and ends on Friday, July 29th. Everyone earns tickets toward prizes for checking out items.
Ages 0-5: Sign up for 1000 Books Before Kindergarten, a program that promotes literacy to newborns, infants, and toddlers and encourages bonding through reading. Once registered, keep track of titles with the provided sheets and be sure to stop back in after each 100 books for a special reward.
Kindergarten through 2nd grades: Visit the Children’s Room to register and receive your log. Complete activity and reading challenges to collect limited edition buttons.
3rd through 5th grades: Visit the Children’s Room to register, receive your activity and reading logs, and be grouped into a cabin. Complete challenges on the activity log to collect limited edition buttons and complete challenges on the reading log to win points for your cabin.
Ages 12 and up: Register at the Main Desk, then start earning tickets for checking out items.
