Norwalk Public Library’s elevator has been closed to the public since March 22, 2023. While the elevator still functions, we were advised not to operate it due to a technical problem with the smoke sensors. Ensuring our building is accessible to and safe for all individuals in the community is always a top priority, which is why the Board of Trustees, management staff, and elevator company have been actively working to get the issue fixed as soon as possible.
For the time being, we are doing our best to accommodate patrons via curbside services. That means anyone who needs library materials and copying/faxing/printing assistance can call 419-668-6063.
