As of Wednesday, March 20th, all Norwalk Public Library cardholders are eligible to receive a free pair of solar eclipse glasses. Glasses are available while supplies last and limited to 4 per person. To claim yours, stop by the Children's Room Desk or Main Desk and show us your library card.
You can still earn a pair of solar eclipse glasses when you:
Attend an NPL event. Attend any event in March. To see everything happening for adults, kids, and teens, click here or pick up a printed calendar in-person.
Do a weekly activity. Visit our Children’s Room each week to complete a new activity.

• March 4th through March 9th: UV Animal Shelter
• March 11th through March 16th: Moon Glasses
• March 18th through March 23rd: Moon Mud
• March 25th through March 30th: Pinhole Viewing Box
Write a poem. Write a solar eclipse poem for our poetry contest and submit it to the library between March 1st and March 30th. The categories for judging are: 8 words or less, haiku, and free verse no longer than a single page.
